I think this car is the 58 Plymouth fury like the one from the movie Christine. So cool.

@1megadeth1 There 2 numbers on the bottom of the stand. One number is R 3594, another number is 32612

I know it’s a 58 Plymouth.due to the numbers on the license plate and the emblems on the car. Just not sure if it’s a Fury. It looks like it .

Really the only way to know for sure is to take the base off. Should say what kind of car on the base of the car.

irinadynkina
@1megadeth1 I just put the photo of the bottom of the stand
Feb 19Reply

1megadeth1
I would have to take the base off to verify the model. I’m not even sure it’s going to say what it is on the bottom of the car though. It’s a game of chance I guess.

@1megadeth1 The car is attached to the stand very nicely and I cannot detach it by myself
Feb 19Reply

1megadeth1
No problem. Either way it’s very cool. Thx.
Feb 19Reply

1megadeth1
Let me know if you ever verify that it is in fact a Fury.

irinadynkina
@1megadeth1 I really don’t know how to verify but I know that I gave you a very good deal

What does it say on the right side passenger rear fin. Or is is just molding.
Feb 21Reply

1megadeth1
I think it says Belvedere which is the base model and the Fury is the sports model.
Feb 21Reply

irinadynkina
@1megadeth1 It says Belvedere

So it is the base model fury. Basically the same car. Due to the damage is it still solid. No major damage just missing the mirrors and a piece of the trim on the rear fin. Doors hood and trunk open and close properly etc.

irinadynkina
@1megadeth1 It is solid, no major damage.Doors, hood can be open easily. Trunk starts to open and I probably need to force it but I am afraid to do it.
Feb 21Reply

1megadeth1
Ok. I’m thinking it might have been dropped and maybe that’s why the trunk doesn’t open due to the fin damage.
Feb 21Reply

1megadeth1
Anyway if you can get the trunk open and post a few more overall pictures of the car that would be great. I’m thinking of takin in it on as a project. Touching up the trim mirror slots and antenna slot with model paint to make it display better.

Feb 21Reply

1megadeth1
Thanks. Looks pretty solid and nice. Just needs a little touch up.
