Represents the spiritual connection between heaven and earth The Chakana symbolizes the union between the terrestrial world and the spiritual world. Its four arms represent the four cardinal points, the four elements (earth, water, air and fire), and the four seasons of the year. In the center of the Chakana there is a hole or central point, which symbolizes the axis of the world or the "axis mundi", through which the energy that connects the terrestrial plane with the celestial plane passes.
