amymgaver Mine was 7.5 and it fit great. The way it's made u have the ability to go up and down about an inch and it still fits perfectly

amymgaver If you could tell me what type of tablet you have whether it's an iPad or Kindle in the model of it I'll be able to tell you whether or not it's designed to sit. There are no scratches marks or tears the zipper works as it should and there are no stains it was not used very often it was kept beside my bed and I don't believe I even use the zipper on it LOL
