gingerly_happy @cherokee233 sorry for the delay. The leather is really is soft. The width is approximately 5inches but it opened to around 9 just sitting unzipped. Length is approximately 13 inches. After my second kid I just don’t use purses anymore but I loved this one. I bought it at a Coach store.
