I have made the decision to seriously move forward with an intentional/minimalist wardrobe. So, I am reducing my closet by 90%. Amongst the listings will be some of my most adored pieces. diannana @barbn Hi! I just learned the YSL Tote I purchased is t authentic... is there anyway I can cancel? I was under the impression that since the brands label was YSL that it was real :(

barbn @diannana Hi, I'm pretty shocked. As far as I'm aware it's absolutely authentic. May I ask your source? The leather is excellent quality, and the tag and serial number appear to be true. I would never knowingly sell an item as authentic if it isn't, and I think my reviews reflect that. If you wish to cancel, I assume you'll just need to go thru @poshmark to do so. I'll wait to ship until I hear from you or them.

diannana @barbn thanks for the reply. My friend works at Nordstrom in handbags & said that YSL doesn't do tags on their bags, the logo is printed on the interior of the bag serial is embossed to avoid fading. After doing a search on the internet, her tips to identify were echoed in many forums/sites. Did you purchase this bag first hand from a retailer? I know should have done my homework before purchasing, so I will not rescind my purchase.

barbn @diannana I appreciate the detailed response. The bag is a reposh from about a year ago, but the seller deals in lots of vintage designer items, and has a pretty stellar selling history herself. I'm not going to tag her, because I don't think it's her fault, based on her customer feedback and other purchases I've made from her myself. However, I certainly don't want you to pay for an item you genuinely don't want.

barbn @diannana If I'd shipped already it would be a different story, but please feel free to go thru the cancellation process. I'll hold the shipment unless your absolutely sure you want to buy it! I won't be offended, although I was really caught off guard initially :)

diannana @barbn it's a really cute tote, so I'll take a look at it when it arrives and reposh or consign if it's not are lovely in person (despite the brand). I don't want to unintentionally harm your seller rating or credibility by filing for a cancellation. All the options for reason of cancel don't seem fair to you. Ship away :)
