When I first saw these shoes, I thought they looked kind of ugly - a little bit Ichabod Crane, if you can picture him. Anyway, I needed some black shoes with just a little lift in the heel, and I purchased these. Holy schnikes! They're great. However, I just don't wear them anymore bec/ I'm retired and don't have a need for this kind of shoe. They're made by Clark's, so you know the quality and comfort factors are great.
