lunarmaria curious if a 16" laptop will fit completely inside, with zip closed. Dimensions are 14" by 10" Clare V website says 15" will fit in the current Le Sac Zip. Are dimensions the same? TYSM!

ilovecocoa @lunarmaria I posted measurement photos to confirm & photos of a mocked up a 14x10x.75” cardboard laptop to give you an idea of fit. Could you pls msg back after you see the photos of the cardboard 16” laptop — reached max photo limit & had to remove some photos of corners — then I can re-post the corner photos. Seems it’d fit fine, tho seems designed to suit a 15” laptop more gracefully. Hope these can give you an idea of a 16” fit — then assess how that’d work for you.

ilovecocoa @lunarmaria Notice how the bag tapers to a narrower base length with increased width…this is where a 16” might fight a bit with the sides — but the width at base is closer to 15” when you include the sides — this is where it might feel a bit funky fitting a 16”. If you’re particular to that sort of thing it may bug you. Or it may not be an issue… Hope this helps

lunarmaria Wow, I really appreciate all the trouble you've gone to! This is actually so helpful, as you got at exactly what I was concerned about. I think the sides of the laptop will push at the sides of the bottom end of the bag, leading to some wear & tear in those spots but also looking a lot less chic than this bag is. Thanks so much!

jcarn Hi! Would you mind adding a photo of this on someone’s shoulder using the longer straps? I’m curious how bag sits as a shoulder bag since at first glance this looks more tote-ish haha. I need a shoulder bag for everyday use and I’m hoping the longer straps do that!

ilovecocoa @jcarn Hi, I’ve posted photos of the bag on the shoulder for you. Please note that I’m wearing an oversized hoodie with a ton of fabric under the arm and it still fits comfortably. When I used this bag, I typically wore it on my shoulder like this and found it to be comfortable and secure (no slipping). Hope this helps!
