Circa 2005 BCBG Max Azria Runway Silk Crochet Lace Chiffon Dress Navy Blue

This dress was part of the BCBG Max Azria's Fall 2005 RTW Runway Collection. According to Vogue, the collection explored a "light hearted folksy theme he introroduced for spring citing Bloomsbury as an influence". This dress design was worn by multiple celebrities of the time. The dress features a crochet lace halter style bodice that ties with a ribbon at the back of the neck. On the back, the lace continues in an unlined pattern in the center back. Dress has a high empire waistline, flowy silk fabric on bottom skirt with lots of movement is midi length, and has a concealed back zipper. Note that this dress has been taken up a bit so the part under the bust is not sheer due to slight reconstruction by the previous owner. see photos of inside.
