Circa 1930s silver tone brooch signed STAR - great condition for age

Measures about 2.25 inches at its widest What I know- It’s marked STAR which was a jewelry brand from 1925 to about 1940. After that, it became Staret. There’s not much known about STAR the company, as far as I can tell. The condition is excellent given how old it is and the pin works as it should. There’s a bit of wear at the hinge of the pin and on the pin itself. The link that connects the pendant to the brooch is slightly open. The pendant doesn’t detach but there is a space. It could likely be easily closed by a skilled hand. I am not that person and won’t risk damaging the piece. This is an estate piece. What I’ve stated is all the information I have. I do my best to capture as much detail in photos as I can. That’s why there’s so many angles. Most of my pieces are decades old. They have wear/natural aging .
