Cinnabar Hand Carved Vintage Bangle Bracelet Asian Floral Motif

Cinnabar jewelry is truly an art form and this is an exquisite piece. Obtained from an older woman who had clearly traveled the world and was looking to start a more domestic tour. To me the real beauty of cinnabar is in the tiny details. The steps or cliffs which can be seen on close inspection. The carving of this bracelet is so well executed. The tiny details and flourishes show the skill of the expert craftsman who made it. It shows light wear from previous use as demonstrated in photos (slight blemish to paint on interior of bracelet). Interior diameter 2&5/8". 9.25" exterior circumference. You truly have to see it in person to truly experience its beauty. Based on construction and design I would estimate it to be circa the 1920s. This was not a tourist souvenir Dragon on Koi fish bracelet. I have seen similar bracelets sell for upwards of $400, but times being tough I wanted to price it affordably for someone who will truly love this bracelet like it deserves. I would keep it for myself but my skin is incredible sensitive and it deserves to be worn.
