Authentic Chrome Hearts Large 3" x 2" Cross Pendant on an Authentic Chrome Hearts 30" Paper Chain (a/k/a Roll Chain) Necklace. This OG matchup is rare - the cross was originally sold with a leather rope necklace, but the chain was a much better companion. The cross and necklace are solid .925 silver and bear Chrome Hearts inscriptions throughout, including on every link of the chain - this is truly a work of art. The sterling silver cross weighs 1.64 ounces and the sterling silver chain weighs 2 ounces - the combination is sturdy and heavy. Used onstage only 5-6 times, it is still flawless. It was bought in ~2018 at Hirshleifers in Manhasset NY, a licensed Chrome Hearts Retailer, tarnish has been left on purpose, I didn't have the heart to wash away those awesome memories.

Unfortunately paper chain isn’t authentic. (The links are flattened at the ends; check the inverse 14k stamp on clasp.) Unsure about the cross.

@localluxury Also, there is no 14k stamp on the clasp, as the Chrome Hearts chain is .925 sterling silver, not gold.

Upon further examination - yes the INSERT part of the clasp does have a 14K inscription. But the pictures did not show this when LL first commented. I have since added two pictures showing the clasp insert. The clasp matches every other Authentic 20"-30" Chrome Hearts paper chain, including at Grailed, Vestiaire Collective, Chrome World, etc. The only "flattened" link is the clasp insert link - this link is "flattened" on all Chrome Hearts Paper Chains.

@rs65ny I apologize and am not attempting to defame or put you down. There’s just an abundance of fake chrome circulating, and both buyers and sellers alike are not aware of what they even have anymore. The pendant looks good to me, as does the clasp. Only concerning part is the flattened link ends seen in picture 5. (close up of links)

The only flattened link is the end of the insert, and this matches all other authentic Chrome Hearts paper chain necklaces. I think you may be talking about the closeup picture of the bail/bale (but on my display this is picture 8, not 5) which I took to show the engraving on the inside of the bail/bale, because that is one good way to confirm authenticity. That is not a flattened link, but the bail/bale (people spell it both ways lol). I know there are a lot of fakes, this one is not.

@localluxury Thanks for clarifying, but you started off by stating: "Unfortunately paper chain isn’t authentic". That is not true. Hirshleifers in Manhasset, NY has a Chrome Hearts "shop in shop", it is a direct dealer and collaborator with Chrome Hearts (you can very easily confirm this). That is where the chain and cross were ordered/purchased from the NYC location, because it is close to where I live and shop. I am only continuing this thread for potential buyers. Have a good day.
