yubalove @williamson6195 hi! It's an empire waist. At the lace inset area ( the empire waist), it is not stretchy. I will measure that and then a couple inches below to get a clearer true waist measurement.

yubalove @williamson6195 the empire waist measurement is 15" flat. The more true waist is about 17.25" flat. The bust or pit to pit is 17.5" laying flat.

yubalove @williamson6195 I read reviews that said this dress ran narrow in the ribcage, so I thought Medium would work for me since I'm between small and Medium. It feels too large for me, so I haven't worn it, just tried on. So I'd say probably true to size, but it wasn't a good fit for me.
