Christofle Malmaison Vintage Bowls

Vintage silver plated bowl in a classic Malmaison motif by Christofle. Measures approximately 5.25” round and about 1.5” deep. Good used condition with some wear. Set an elegant table with the small silver plated round bowl in the Malmaison pattern. One of Christofle's most historic patterns, Malmaison typifies the Empire style, with its frieze of delicate palm and lotus leaves and symmetrical design. The name is a nod to the Chateau de la Malmaison, a favored Parisian residence of Napoleon Bonaparte and Empress Josephine.
