Christmas in Tyler Texas 2007 Smith County Courthouse Christmas Ornament EUC THE SMITH COUNTY COURTHOUSE 1910-1955 This Classical Revival building served as the Smith County Courthouse from its dedication in 1910 to 1955, when it was razed. Charles Henry Page Junior was the architect of this courthouse, which was the crown jewel of a town square that once stretched from College to, Spring Street. After the 1955 courthouse was occupied, the 1910 courthouse was demolished, followed by the extension of Broadway Avenue through the square.
