I made this using an inside out sweatshirt with cotton Christmas fabric sewn on (open edge) in squares and rectangles. Has a clasp to close at top. Binding all around is a dark green with holly leaves. Can be washed (everything was pre washed) and put in dryer on low. Since fabric squares are open edge, some threads appearing is part of the look. Disclaimer- I am not a professional seamstress - but I am a quilter and that’s why this project appealed to me.
