Christian Louboutin So Kate Size 38.5 but runs smaller like 38

I wear size 38.5 in regular Christian Louboutin heels and 38 in Loubishark. My regular shoe size is 7 1/2 in brands like Michael Kors heels. These hurt way too much to wear if you are a true 7 1/2 or regular 38.5 Christian Louboutin user like me. I looked online and many ladies are saying that sales people at Christian Louboutin are telling them to size up on So Kates because your foot will swell when wearing these and you will need the extra space. So I'd say if you are generally a 38 in Louboutin heels or even a 37.5 these may fit better. I don't know. You may have to go try them on at the store first before purchasing unless you are familiar with So Kates. These were purchased at Saks and have very little mileage on them.
