Christian Dior gold plated sapphire snake necklace

Signed CHRISTIAN DIOR, gorgeous gold plated necklace, with a sapphire diamond paste surrounded by clear rhinestones. This is a classic Christian Dior necklace from the 1980s which features a shiny gold tone flat snake chain attached to a bright large blue sapphire diamond paste pendant. The octagonal shaped sapphire is cut like a real gem and is surrounded by small round clear rhinestones and two clear tapered baguette shaped rhinestones which truly give the illusion of precious jewel. This necklace is really wonderful and even more gorgeous in person! The necklace has an extender chain with the CD metal tag charm at the end with Chr.Dior signature on it. The necklace measures 16.5" (42 cm) from the spring ring closure to the end of the extender chain. The necklace can be worn at 14.8" (37,5 cm) without the extender chain. The pendant section measures 0.8" (2 cm). The necklace is in great condition.
