Chippewa Ruttman Mens Size 8 Fire Fighter Boots Black Leather Steel Toe Zip USA Vintage Built for serious work and rescue conditions, these vintage Chippewa Ruttman Model 27422 Firefighter Boots are USA-made and built to endure. They feature a lace-to-toe design with removable front zipper inserts for quick on/off, along with aggressive Vibram® lug soles for traction and durability. These boots are ANSI Z41 PT91 I/75 C/75 certified, meaning they offer steel toe protection rated for 75 lbs. of impact and 2500 lbs. of compression — meeting OSHA requirements. Ideal for firefighter, wildland, tactical, or industrial use. Pre-owned condition with visible wear consistent with age and use. Toe scuffing and finish loss on both boots (see photos). Minor, uniform midsole separation around the boots, especially near the toe and sidewalls — cosmetic and does not affect structural integrity. This is a common issue for this model due to age and flexing. Uppers show general creasing and surface wear but remain sturdy. Zippers and laces are fully functional.
