Listed is a Large Heavy Ceramic Chinese Made Vase that is Adorned with Pomegranates and Ring-Necked Pheasants. Ring-Necked Pheasants, are Native to China and are so-named because of the Presence of a Notable White Ring Around their Neck. Pomegranates were Introduced to China Via the Silk Road in Circa 119 B.C. during the Reign of Emperor Wu. Owing to their Juiciness and Nutritional Value, Pomegranates in China are Mainly Eaten as a Fresh Fruit. We remain uncertain as to the Manufacture and Lineage of this Vessel because we are Unable to Match the Mark, or Chop, on its Base to any Known Manufacturer. That having been Said, we Suspect this Auspicious Piece of Collectable Decor to have been Crafted in the 1940s or '50s Simply due to the Stunningly Magnificent Art Work Displayed Throughout the Piece. We are Able to Aver that we Purchased this Beauty at an Estate Sale and Aver that it is Exceptionally Well-Crafted. Only One of these is Available Folks so this is a First-Come, First Served Offering. Your Treasure will be Shipped With Great Care.
