This 1980's piece of Chico's jewelry is bold and beautiful. It includes the Abalone Shell center piece with glass beads and some that are acrylic. The chain length is 15" with a 4.5 " extender and the Medallion is 2.5 " across. The Abalone shell colors in the center piece of this necklace bring a little taste of the Pacific ocean to you. Just a side note, the harvesting of Abalone is limited and highly regulated in the California coastal waters. They are considered endangered. This necklace is preowned and in good condition.
