Chelsea & Violet Upcycled Denim Dress

Boy, this was a lot of fun to do and I'm still debating whether to keep it in my closet. Chelsea & Violet is one of my favorite Dillards brands, so when I found this super soft denim dress from them, I knew I had to snag it. And, I had just the vintage quilt piece to take it to the next level! The large 4 point star on the back is all hand-pieced--can you imagine? The front features some burn outs in locations I don't love, so I did a "back patch" on them. Feel free to cut more of the strings to show more of the fabric beneath! With the pearl snap front, this would be adorable with a pair of boots for a rodeo, summer fair or concert, but just as cute with a pair of strappy sandals!
