So I just tried the shoes on and with a light sock I have a little room I could never wear a heavy sock I am not sure if this helps ,if u wear more of a 712/ than 8 they will work if u wear more of an 8 I feel like they will be short ,if u have other brands u wear I can tell u what size I am in those to compare ,in Nike sneakers I am 712/ ,in brooks sneakers 8 ,in a flip flop like Tory Burch rubber ones I am 8 but the leather tort birch flip flops I am a 7
