funshop99 @cherryposh hi. There is no serial number. From what I understand some vintage bags don’t have serial numbers. But this was purchased at an estate sale and I have no history on this bag. Sorry. However Poshmark will authenticate the bag before charging the buyer. So there are no chances of getting a faux Chanel bag. Thanks for you help.

kcook585 @funshop99 so any bags that are made before 1986 do not have the serial numbers. In regards to authenticity of this specific belt bag, is that on the inside of the bag where it Says Chanel, it shouldn't say Paris underneath, it should only say that, (Paris that is) on the opposite Chanel side of the engraving, like other side of where the turn lock is. maybe you could take pics and send it into entrupy, or another authenticator ?
