Ceramic Roman Helmet Galea w/red crest Vintage

This is a vintage spice pomander by Andre Richard. Still has the original red foil sticker on the bottom: "RICHARD JAPAN". It looks to be a red crested Roman Galea (helmet), worn by a legionary. Lovely hand-painted ceramic piece. The artist painted in a rustic golden style. The beautiful furry red crest really makes this piece stand out. Item stands approximately 4 inches tall, 4 inches across the side of the helmet, and 3 inches across the face. Very cool piece!!!
