Ceramic Pitcher vintage signed

Wonderful vintage green ceramic pitcher, designed n he 1950's of fine French manufacture. Under the base is its place of origin, France The pitcher has a wider bottom that narrows as it goes towards the spout. There is a sleeve in the center of the body that allows for a firm grip on the pitcher. The spout opens very smoothly, preventing drinks from spilling out. The pitcher is totally made of finely crafted ceramic in white and green ,interior is pale yellow. A rare large and generous pitcher , sensual body in thick green enameled ceramic, yellow enameled interior one handle with opening . Elchinger incised signature under the base, France 1950. Object 100% authentic Elchinger took over his family's ceramic business in 1936, developed and modernized the plant and built a second in 1975 on another site. He installed the first six-pass continuous electric furnace in France and thus industrialized a faience production. He especially strengthened the manufacture of the ceramic saturator becoming the leading manufacturer in Europe. Glazed earthenware pitcher from the 1950s/60s by the Elchinger factory, multicolor satin glaze on the outside and bright yellow on the inside. H:29cm
