Ceramic Bird Statue, White Quail Figurine Mid Century MCM Vintage Studio Pottery

Hand crafted white Glazed Ceramic Bird on a Square Base. This statue is vintage, probably mid-century era, handmade studio pottery. It is unmarked and unsigned. It is in good vintage condition - the glaze is quite crazed, but there are no chips or cracks. It is about 7.5 inches tall. This bird would be lovely as mantle decor, or a garden statue on the porch or patio, near a bird feeder or birdbath, or on a plant shelf. Would also make a great office paperweight, or decor on a sideboard or table. It has a lovely minimalist mid-century style, with the combination of angular (square base) and organic (bird shape). There is quite a bit of glaze crazing, but no chips or cracks. There is one spot on the bird's back where the crazing has left some brownish marking (see photos), consistent with the age of the piece.
