Ceil Chapman vintage 1960's ? metallic brocade gown

This is a vintage piece probably from the 60's. A custom handmade evening dress in good condition for the age. (please check pictures with some areas of distress on the shoulders) zipper is original and still working. Nice bow in the back. A collectors piece The maker of the dress is Ceil Chapman to my best knowledge this is an original piece of the New York designer The fabric is a very pretty gold and red metallic brocade. Bought it on a vintage shop without trying and is very small a 00 and cannot be altered s to s 12" waist 12" length front 49"/Back 52" Ceil Chapman was an American fashion designer who worked in New York City from the 1940s to the 1960s.
