This closet carries a variety of sizes (0-20) but I am plus size. I use a mannequin to display some of my items that I cannot model due to size. Trust me, you don't want me to try. It would be ugly. There are some things you can't unsee. Please look at the sizes and ask for measurements if needed and keep in mind that most clothing items are bigger than they appear in the photos! Currently have items size 0 through 20 available in my closet! Happy Poshing!

"YIKES". I, personally would rather purchase an item from someone's closet that has been merchandised properly and a bit more classy and polished than NOT. poshinistajen @gemsbyjoan I finally got my lighting situation figured out! I use one of those halogen work lights from the garage and place it accross the room to get better lighting. Then I use an app called "PhotoGrid" to create the collages and adjust brightness amd contrast. It has made a world of difference in my photos! Good luck and thank you for the Posh love!!! ❤😊

poshinistajen @pinkrabbit12 Hi there! I think most people who are using stock images are grabbing them off the internet. They go to Google, type in the brand, a description and color and then search. You can change to an image search and it will bring back all images that match the criteria. This is usually much easier when something is NWT and has the style name or number on the tag. If the item is still in season or being sold in stores, it is likely you can find it online. I hope this helps!

poshinistajen @pinkrabbit12 hi again! You can save the images on your computer and you will need to put them in a location like a Google Drive that you can access from your phone or tablet. I usually use my phone to search for the images and then just save them to the phone's hard drive or SD card. (Continued)

poshinistajen @pinkrabbit12 When you click on the sell Link in Poshmark, you will get the camera by default, but if you look in the lower right-hand corner you will see a folder icon. That folder icon will allow you to search the SD card or the hard drive of the phone or tablet that you are using. That way you can select the images that you have downloaded.

poshinistajen @pinkrabbit12 if you do need to take your own pictures I do recommend a photo app like Photo Grid that can help you adjust the brightness, contrast, and colors as well as crop and resize. The PhotoGrid app is free and can be downloaded from the App Store on Google or iOS.

poshinistajen @dayres0969 Hi there! I bought this on on eBay a long time ago. Maybe paid $15 for it. My other mannequin was from Craigslist and the guy selling got them from a store that closed. You can also get dress forms at Jo-Ann Fabric (I recommend getting one of their 50% off coupons in the Sunday paper or signing up online for their coupons!)

nanasjewelbox @poshinistajen So funny that I saw this for the first time today, after just one hour ago discussing this very subject on Facebook!! A few of the plus size ladies said they don't like it when people use clips to make stuff smaller, that they'd rather see a flat lay. I do something a little different now. If the item looks too large on the Mannie, I slip a tutu on under the dress or skirt, and it fills out quite nicely. I also include a pic with the item clipped & loose & a flat lay.

poshinistajen @zuzu6431 I know it is crazy! I try to stick with brands I know so I don't have too many surprises when an item I buy arrives... lol. I have had so many disappointments with stuff labeled a size XL that is like a medium! Its usually cheap fast fashion from China.

muthaluvvintage Thanks for this great post. I sold on ebay for many years before making the switch to Posh, best decision ever. I actually don't even post the tagged sizes on vintage. I sell all of my vintage by measurements only. I advise people to measure a piece that fits them and compare it to the listed piece. And yes, hair clips are my go to fasteners on my manni too.
