Steel Pony was established in 1992 in the Fabric District in Philadelphia, PA by a husband-and-wife team, Joanne Litz and Dennis Wolk. Joanne is the main designer behind their art-to-wear clothing collections. Her husband's' specialty is working with the various dying processes and designing the business' handbags. I enjoy wearing their clothing, which goes from casual to exotic. I purchased most of my Steep Pony wardrobe directly from their shop yet frequently have found pieces online to add to my collection. I have a policy -- buy one, sell one. Otherwise, there would be no room to cram a new acquisition into the closet. Literally. Some pulled seams (still intact but stretched) otherwise in good condition.
