mybudgetcouture @sdepadro I am not sure - they are boxed, new from the manufacturer. I pulled a few out and gave as gifts. No one mentioned an issue. Lodge Cast Iron recommends the following: How long does it take to fully season a cast iron? - Place the cookware in the oven upside down. - Place a large baking sheet or aluminum foil on the bottom rack - Bake at 450-500 degrees for 1 hour. - Allow to cool.
