cbrideandgroom @indianhills per the manufacturer’s size chart: bust 38 1/2 waist 29 1/2 hips 40 1/2. Most Brides do find they want to alter a gown to fit the body, based on one’s preference. Hope that helps.

cbrideandgroom @indianhills gotcha. If it is too big in the waist, it can certainly be taken in. I believe it has enough in the seam to let it out an inch.

indianhills @cbrideandgroom oh darling, I'd love to think the waist is to large however it is 6 inches too small. otherwise, I would purchase as this is extraordinarily graceful, unlike so many bridal gowns.

indianhills @cbrideandgroom I'm sure this is ridiculous to ask, however, do you feel that this gown could be tailored.... 1) To be shortened in length some.....& 2) Waist tailored 4 inches wider from fabric that was taken from shortening the dress I'm thinking that this would be a lovely gown to wear to perhaps the theatre....may I ask your thoughts.

cbrideandgroom @indianhills the gown candefinitely be shortened. I agree that it would be a lovely gown for such a formal event. I would suggest that you consult a good seamstress about altering the waist. I would say maybe, but I don't do alterations. The illusion doesn't have a seam allowance, so a seamstress would possibly have to cahnge the back somewhat (ie., the illusion may have to be raised since it can't be let out). Hope that helps.
