Cartier Tank Louis SM (1970s)

Vintage and ready to wear! This Tank Louis features the rare “Mark 1” Dial, identified by Hodinkee and others as the rarest of the 1970s Tank Louis dials and features both a flattened “A” in the Cartier signature on the dial and an elongated sapphire cabochon. This watch comes in the smaller 20x28 case which is best for a wrist 6.25” or below. The wind-up 78X movement is currently functioning but service is recommended in the next 1-2 years of use. The black strap and gold-plated buckle are both aftermarket. While there is little to no “spidering” of the dial observable on this watch, please note there are several spots on the left and bottom sides of the dial due to standard age and wear.
