Cartier Sterling Silver Hammered Carafe/Vase with Engraving #10884

Vintage sterling silver carafe/vase by Cartier with engraving. Engraving says "WILLIAM P. SCHLOTH STARTED DECEMBER 26, 1955 AND GOING STRONG" This simple and elegant carafe or vase features a hammered finish and curved upper rim. Engraving is on one side at the bottom, it can easily be turned the other way to present the unengraved side. Measures approx 10 1/2" high, 3" diameter at top, 4" diameter base. Weighs approx 449g, 289dwt. Marked with what may be maker's mark but is faded (appears to be M9) 925 in an oval Cartier STERLING ITALY Very nice condition with some light surface scratching and some tarnish. Dent in the bottom edge (see photo). Will come packaged in a gift box or pouch when possible (not a Cartier box or pouch), and will be shipped US Priority Mail with insurance. CL011422/17KCS
