+Cartier Paris 1950 Mid Century Bamboo Mechanical Pencil In 14Kt Yellow

Bamboo pencil designed by Cartier. Very unusual and useful luxury piece, created in Paris France by the iconic house of Cartier, during the mid century period, back in the 1950's. This is a mechanical pencil, crafted in solid yellow gold of 14 karats and embellished with a carving of natural bamboo wood. Still having the original Lead and is in perfect writing condition. It is fitted with a space for initials, this is non monogramed. Weight: 15.3 Grams, (9.81 Dwt). Measurements: 102 mm by 14 mm (4.0 x 0.43 Inches). Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark, the British importation marks and signed, "CARTIER DEPOSE". Collateral: It is accompanied by the original designer's presentation fitted box. Condition: The overall condition of this piece is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold or the bamboo wood. This pencil has been carefully inspected to guarantee the working condition and authenticity.
