This auction is for the iconic "Blazer Hoodie" aka "SWEAT SUIT" from Carol Christian Poell's most iconic Season, SS04: Mainstream Downstream. One of the more formally playful pieces from the collection, this combines the form of a sport jacket with the front pocket & material of a more casual hoodie. Can be worked in to very playful silhouettes. The item was purchased deadstock with tag on, but without ricebag (I am unsure if rice bags were used in 2004). I removed the tag but kept it as pictured, my assumption is that the scratched off part of the tag was the original price. I only tried the garment on at home, where it has been kept in a smoke free environment. This garment is a Men's 48 IT-- fit-wise, it is good for a Medium or slim Large. Measures about 21.5 inches pit to pit, approximately 18 inches at shoulder. BLIQ fabric is a cotton blend that is light and airy with stretch, somewhat similar to a jersey fabric. It is a fabric that is no longer in production. Item is Color 9, which is a dark gray. The final pictures show in this listing are pictures from the "runway" show, which display the garment in white.
