*2nd of 2 available, different prints*
9" x 12" print (originally a piece of a real estate agent brochure, not a stand alone piece), on thick, textured paper, in a subdued, yet rich and vibrant pallete.
*Monarch Bay Homes, Dana Point California*
*Frame is new, wood with glass. The print doesn't seem to have tears, discoloration, or other damage. Please see all pictures.
*Artist, Carlos Diniz (1928-2001), is often regarded as one of the last, great, American architectural artists.
*Double sided, frame either way, either aesthetically or, a more literary side*
*One side features a room, inside of an available home
*The other side, features a small illustration, as well as a poetic sales pitch, extolling the virtues and features of the available model of home
*An extraordinarily example of early 1960s architecture, artistic style, and storied idealism of bygone American life in suburban California
*Features a printed, signature, last name of the artist (not an original).
*Belonged to my grandfather and was given to him by a property agent in the early 60s (my best guess).
*While I presume that other brochures and framed pieces may exist in homes, warehouses, museums, etc...I've yet to find one in 20+ years of searching. This piece, with its story, may be irreplaceable.*
*An outstanding gift or conversation piece for your home*
I've given all of my knowledge on this piece here, so please read, read again, and linger. I will pack it with the utmost love and respect.
