@keetersmas16 Hello! The metal is 925 silver overlay ( w copper)
sterling silver overlay won’t look as bright as pure silver since it’s only 92.5 percent silver. Fine silver, on the other hand, will be vibrant in color.

@keetersmas16 It is a thick layer of Silver laid on top of a firmer metal during the manufacturing process. This makes the finished piece firmer and less prone to bending. The silver is thick enough that it is engraved just like solid sterling and will also tarnish with exposure to air. Thanks for asking
