Carhartt was founded by Hamilton Carhartt in Detroit in 1889. The company began humbly in a small shed by producing tough work overalls for railroad workers. Evolving from the Carhartt legacy a century later, Carhartt Work In Progress (Carhartt WIP) was established in 1994 by Edwin Faeh. Carhartt WIP represents a forward-thinking way of living that still encompasses the classic aesthetics of the iconic brand. As the streetwear version of Carhartt, Carhartt WIP offers a wide range of apparel: heavy-duty jackets, double-knee pants, ribbed beanies, and more. the Sheffield jacket in particular is a classic workwear piece. this 100% cotton twill jacket constructed from a durable canvas shell features a fleece pile lined inner and collar, as well as quilted sleeves—look the part whilst staying warm this season! a full length zip and button front closure holds everything in place, and two slanted welt hand pockets are located at the bottom. the sleeve cuffs are open hem, while the bottom hem features a woven Carhartt logo tab. the jacket also has an internal pocket that currently holds the original replacement buttons. this jacket is a men’s size large and has a regular fit & full length sleeves. barely worn, so lightly used and still in excellent condition with no major flaws to note.
