Cat carrier or if you have a small dog under 13 pounds can use. I used this about 5 times and got a bigger one so both my cats can fit in one. There are 2 entrances one from top and side and both lock once zippers up. There is also a side pocket. The inside bottom part is removal and can wash the cover.
