Candlestick of hardwood carved as a pineapple

Hardwood Pineapple candlestick holder beautifully done with lines cris-crossing and holes drilled inside each diamond. I’m pretty certain this is handcrafted due to irregularities in the lines length and the shape of the top. The top measurements are a bit uneven but not enough to effect the look, use or value-just make this unique. No one agrees on the type of wood however, but the grain is stunning as I tried to show in the photos. Great piece and of course signifies “Welcome”!
