VINTAGE Cambridge Glass Ribbed / Melon Ball Vase (also called Ivy Base) with Keyhole Stem !! Believed to be the manufacturer's item number #3400. This type of vase was hand-blown by the Cambridge Glass Company of Cambridge, Ohio (which ceased operation in 1958), and this one is stunning! The stem and foot are crystal, and the stem features a beautiful cut-out design that is often referred to as a keyhole. The upper globe section is ribbed, and I believe this is sometimes referred to as a melon shape. In excellent condition!! No chips or cracks, no roughness or sharp edges at the top of the globe. Measures approximately 8 1/4 inches tall, 5 inches in diameter at the widest part of the globe, and 3 7/8 inches in diameter at the base.**. I have several of these Cambridge 1930s glass vases in different styles and colors in my Etsy Shop. These all came from a private collector's home, and all are in excellent condition.
