I got these candlesticks for my wedding 10 years ago and LOVED them. Used them for special occasions only so they wouldn't break. Took them out for Christmas, used them, they were sitting on my kitchen counter and while I was doing other dishes. I knocked into them, tipping them over and BOTH broke at the stems. I was sick to my stomach about it and it was my fault.:(
