Calling All Poshers! Please share my story

Hi Poshers! For those interested in my story.. my car was stolen near my house between 4-5AM on 7/17 in the Bronx. I discovered this around 7AM and immediately called 911. My car was last pinged on my app at 4:50AM on Watson st which was about 10 min away. I went there and no car was to be found. I called 911 again and waited about an hour still no one showed so I went back home. I called BMW to send a GPS signal to the car to locate it but they would not do this without a police report stating it was against their policy. It was almost 10AM by this time going on 5 hours+ since the theft. I called the 45th precinct 5 times before someone finally answered. I begged the detective to give me a police report over the phone to give to BMW so that they would send the signal. The detective gave me a report number for an assault. I gave this to BMW so they would finally send the signal, it was 10:30 by this time. They said I would have to call back every hour to keep sending a signal and that they would only release any information found to the police department due to safety reasons. The police finally showed up at my house after 12:30 in the afternoon, I had called 911 3 times since 7am. The officers did not ask any neighbors for camera footage they just had be fill out the form and left. The detective on this case has done nothing but make excuses and give me the runaround. This car was an investment and held great sentimental value for various reasons and is now gone.
