This beautiful decorative bowl was made by Caliente Pottery in Burbank, California. Virgil Haldeman began his pottery in 1933 and continued until 1947 when the pottery closed its doors. This aqua blue dish has an embossed flower stem with leaves at the bottom, ending in a 3D flower at the edge. The round shape of the bowl is pushed inward in four places, resulting in a wavy rim. The bottom is hand inscribed with "Handmade in California USA 235". Measures approximately 9.5" across and just under 2" depth.
In very good vintage condition, with just two small flea bit chips at the rim of the one flower petal. No other chips, cracks or signs of damage.
