CVB (2071) Vintage "KAFIN NEW YORK" Milk Glass Stone Open Circle Brooch

PRICE $88 This is a Vintage "KAFIN NEW YORK" Gold Tone Double Link Metal w/Prong Set Marquise Cut Milk Glass Stones Open Circle Wreath Style Brooch. It is 1 7/8" in diameter. The actual pin on back side is somewhat long & sticks out so be careful handling the brooch as you might "stick" yourself with the tip of the pin. Stones look to be in good condition. I did not observe any wear. I am human & may unintentionally miss something but I always try to make sure I list good quality vintage pieces/sets. If something minor, I will list in description. In good vintage condition. It is signed KAFIN NEW YORK in script on plaque on back side of brooch. There is no copyright symbol. Kafin Jewelry Creations, Inc. was located at 19 W. 36th Street, N.Y., N.Y. from 1946 to 1963. The company was a manufacturer producing “Rhinestone, tailored – bracelets, necklaces, pins, earrings, etc. to retailers. Not much is known about this particular designer but this style of double link chain, used as a base for stones and charms, is a brand trait of many KAFIN designs. VERY PRETTY BROOCH! Photos show shadows &/or reflections that may appear to look like wear or a different color tint & it is not. Many of my photos are taken outside. I did not observe any wear. Remember this is Vintage Jewelry dating 20 years or many more ... average age is over 50 years. It is not uncommon to see a small smudge or something like a very small mark.
