COPPER & BLUE GLAZED POLYMER CLAY TILE ADJUSTABLE HEXAGON RING - JRJELS1

A hexagon blue glazed polymer clay tile tops the copper adjustable ring shank. Tile measures 1/2 inch flat to flat, and 5/8-inch point to point. The ring fits size 6-1/2 and larger. Polymer clays were first developed in the 1930’s wartime shortages of materials used in doll making. FIMO polymer clay was first made popular by Maureen “Fifi” Kruse, daughter of well-known German doll designer Kathe Kruse in the early 1940s. Artist's love working with polymer clay because it's flexible, versatile, and can be baked in a regular home oven. Polymer clay is an excellent material for making all kinds of jewelry, including modern earrings, beads, charms, and pendant necklaces.
