Contax II camera by Carl Zeiss with a 50mm f2.0 Carl Zeiss Jena Sonar snap out lens and the bottom half of the leather case The Contax II was manufactured between 1936 and 1942 Contax body serial number 820060 The back has the same serial number 820060 Carl Zeiss Jena Sonar 1:2 5cm # 1884194 is clear and does not appear to have any scratches dirt inside The f-stop ring works very smoothly from f2 down to f22 The lens is a little stiff to pull it out to the shooting position The take up spool is still with the camera The shutter still works, however I have no way to check the actual shutter speeds The frame counter also works The viewfinder is completely blocked. You can not see through it or use the rangefinder.
