What better way to start a collection than with a complete set of all 50 State Quarter Collections released through 2008. This Starter Kit features all of the quarters from all ten years, from Delaware through Hawaii. They re all together with our award-winning Collector Box, which will organize and protect your entire collection. The box shown is for the United States Mint's 50 State Quarters Program, which ran from 1999 to 2008. It celebrated each state with a unique quarter design. Key details: • Each year, five new quarter designs were released, each representing a different state. • The program honored all 50 states in the order they joined the Union. • This set includes both "P" and "D" mint mark quarters for each state. • The complete set contains 100 coins, two for each state (one from the Philadelphia and one from the Denver mint). • The box set was produced by MPI Coin. The outer box shows some wear and tear from storage. The inner boxes and each individual quarter envelope/booklet is in fantastic condition! I am the original owner. I started collecting these in 1999 when it was initially released and went to my Credit Union every quarter to purchase each state as it was released through 2008.
