At the time, this line was one of Coach's most expensive bags. Each bag was handmade (not handcrafted) using Italian leather that was treated to be scratch, water and stain resistant. Both the pebbled textured leather and brushed pearlized brass hardware have an antiqued quality meant to probably lend a classic "old world" elegance that you see in the European luxury bag market. As far as the condition, the main issues are piping wear on one corner, leather stretching and a wrinkling look on the bottom. This may have occurred during the leather processing or creasing during storage. The interior is a few minor snags and stains and light pen marks.
