CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG (1969) Original 3-Sheet Poster / 41x80 Inches / Fine+

Although “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” was not a huge commercial or critical success when it was released in 1969, it is now a fondly-remembered part of many people’s childhood (including mine). This huge 41x80 inch poster has no pinholes or tape residue so I don’t think it was ever used to promote the film. The ‘G-Rated’ notice is covered over with white tape so this poster was probably made for the Canadian market which has a different rating system. There is also a pink notice that has been glued on the right side that I have not seen on any other example of this poster. Having been folded for over 50 years, there are some creases and some discoloration on the back (see photos).
